Laminations and core packages are used for small transformers and chokes from mains frequency to several khz. Material processed include 0 35 to 0 5 mm thick fully processed silicon steelsand grain oriented 0 17 to 0 35mm thick silicon.

They are stamped from a pre material strip of the respective thickness and finished by a consequent annealing process to optimize the magnetic properties. Transformer core power transformers work depending upon the principle of mutual induction between two or more magnetically coupled windings. First and only manufacturer to offer the new super orthosil 007 009 and 011 thick ei laminations with higher permeability and lower core losses than standard oriented laminations. Larger lamination blanks are also available for larger power transformers.

The proper mutual induction requires an efficient linkage of magnetic flux between the windings.
