Toyota Tundra 2006 Power Door Lock Problem

Initially driver side lock actuator would not unlock door via remote.

Nearly 1400 00 to replace. Approximately 2 weeks later the front passenger door lock actuator problem lasted approximately 7 days. Apparently i had 3 door lock actuator motors fail at the same time over the weekend. Toyota tundra owners have reported 3 problems related to power door locks not working under the electrical system category.

The most recently reported issues are listed below. All doors multiple doors fail. Called toyota and they have given me the standard your 36k miles or 3yr warranty has expired. This last approximately 10 days.

Luckily the toyota tundra power door locks are pretty easy to self diagnose what s wrong. The problem resolved it self. While there is the possibility of a pretty big electrical issue most of the problems are minor and easy to fix.
